Traditional Noodle Soup

China Town 101

Handmade noodles, steamed dumplings, and slow-simmered broths in the heart of China Town Beijing.

Welcome

A Bowl of Tradition, Served Daily

At China Town 101, every bowl starts with a broth that has simmered for hours and noodles pulled by hand the way they have been for generations. We keep our menu focused on what matters: the dumplings, the buns, and the noodle soup that bring people back to our tables day after day.

No shortcuts, no fuss, just the food we grew up eating, served hot in a room that feels like home. Open every day from eleven in the morning until ten at night.

Our Story

Noodles Pulled by Hand, Broth Simmered for Hours

China Town 101 began with a simple idea: serve the kind of Chinese noodle soup you would find in a family kitchen, not a factory. Our cooks start before dawn, rolling dough for dumplings and lowering bones into the stockpot so the broth is ready by the time the doors open at eleven.

Every dumpling is folded by hand. Every bun is steamed to order. We keep our menu short on purpose, because doing a few things well is the whole point. It is the food we are proud to put in front of our own families, and we are glad to put it in front of yours.

The Atmosphere

Where Every Meal Feels Like Family

Step inside and you are met with the sound of chopsticks, the hiss of the steamer, and the smell of broth that has been on the stove since morning. The room is warm and unhurried, with wooden tables close enough to share a conversation and lantern light that softens everything.

Whether you come for a quick bowl at lunch or a long dinner with friends, you will find the same thing: honest food, served hot, by people who care about it. That is the whole atmosphere, and it is the one we want you to feel from the moment you sit down.
